My 1st Soccer Practice!

Mommy and Daddy brought me to my first soccer practice today. We practiced kicking the ball, played Red Light Green Light, and played with a parachute. What a fun way to spend a cold winter day! Mommy and Daddy were happy because I took a really long nap after I played so hard.

St. Louis Trip

This weekend we went to St. Louis to visit Aunt Snugs. We got to see her new house for the first time, and spend some quality time with her while exploring the city. My favorite parts of the trip were having dance parties in the kitchen while making homemade pizza, playing at the Magic House, and eating frozen custard at the famous Ted Drews. Of course, all these things were done with my Aunt Snugs and Uncle Nick which made the weekend perfect. Below you'll find pictures that highlight our fun at the Magic House.

After trying over and over again... Snugs was the one who was able to make an enormous bubbles around oursevles! I had to stand really still with my arms down. Unfortnuately my nose finally popped it, and it felt really funny.

When I woke up the next morning after Halloween, Momma video taped me reliving the memories from the night before. Enjoy!

HALLOWEEN!!!

Spending time with our family was the perfect way to celebrate Halloween! Some of my favorite memories from the night are ringing door bells, seeing lots of dogs, and of coarse...eating candy! A big thank you goes to Grammy for staying behind to pass out candy to my neighborhood friends!

Party Time!!!

My birthday party was perfect: we played, and played, and played... and ended everything with cake. Spending time with my family and friends was the best way to celebrate my big day. Thank you to everyone who made my birthday so special!

Camping Trip at the Dunes

We had a great time again this year at the Annual Maynard Camping Trip. The weather was perfect... lots of walks during the day and cuddling by the fire at night. The family reunion was really special because were were able to visit with all our loved ones. The lovely pictures are courtesy of Jake's Aunt (Auntie C).

Keeping Busy!

One of my favorite things to do is push the stroller, so I was in heaven when Mommy let me get out of the stroller and walk.

Spending time with Daddy while he rips out the HUGE bushes twice the height of Daddy. As you can tell by my safety glasses.... Safety first!

Playing with playdough for the first time! I actually kept it out of my mouth. Mommy said it doesn't taste very well, so I trust her on that one!

Mommy has started to let me cook with her. We both put on our aprons and make magic in the kitchen.

Summer Vacation 2010

I had the time of my life while on vacation this year. From swimming in the lake, to playing in the pool and at the park with my cousins, to taking walks with the entire Akin family... the week couldn't have gone any better. Below are some pics from the vacation.

Summer Fun

4th of July at Lake Wawasee was a great time! Many memories were made while spending time with all my family members. I also really enjoyed swimming in the lake this year. I kept kicking my feet so fish would stay away. :-)

We've been spending some time at the new house. Mommy taught me a new game that is a blast... swiffering hardwood floors!

Our First Weekend in Indy

Daddy treated us to a day downtown Indy to celebrate our return to the city. We went to dinner at Rock Bottom, walked around the courtyard on Capitol Ave, and cheered on the Indianapolis Indians at Victory Field.

While shopping at Circle Center, Mommy and Daddy bought me a new doggie!

Our New House!

Here's a picture of our new house. We move in at the end of June! We're looking forward to transitioning the house from "1970's" to "our home." We'll definitely take before and after shots!

Farewell Fort Wayne!

Since the house is empty, Mommy and I spent our last day up in Fort Wayne together at the zoo. My facial expressions all day long were full of curiosity and focus! I was taking it all in one animal at a time. The sea lions, ducks, and giraffes were my favorite animals of the day.

Don't worry, it's not real! Like Mommy would ever let me get within 10 feet of a real reptile!

Springtime 2010!

I've been hanging out with Sam and Ben lately, and we've been having a blast! From riding in our mommies' old wagon to eating our first icecream sandwich to watching Bobby play baseball with mommy's shades on... we're creating everlasting memories that we'll look back on for years to come.

The warmer weather has brought the best out in Anna. She absolutely LOVES being outside. She rides her "car car" around all the time and enjoys walks in her wagon while wearing sun glasses. Anna also had her first surgery a few weeks ago... tubes! They seem to be working as she got a cold last week and she didn't end up on an antibiotic due to an ear infection- Yea! Overall she seems less irritable, too. WooHoo!

Anna continues to have inpecable fashion sense!
